1924 Tourbillon
Description
The DELMA 1924 Tourbillon signifies longevity, craftsmanship and progress in honor of our 100th anniversary. The tourbillon sits at the heart of DELMA’s proprietary 100% Swiss Caliber DT100.01, a hand-wound movement with a prodigious power reserve of 105 hours.
The dial is executed in sable black and features a grained finish. The hour and minute hands are palladium, nickel-plated, and lined with white Super-LumiNova® BGW9.
The 41mm stainless-steel case radiates quality and pays tribute to the brand’s design aesthetic. Fitted with a stainless-steel bracelet with a deployant clasp, quick-release spring bars allow the wearer to switch to the additional black Italian leather strap without requiring the use of tools.
This exclusive timepiece is supplied in a sumptuous presentation box and limited to 100 pieces in celebration of 100 years of DELMA.
Each 1924 Tourbillon is made to order; please allow 2-3 weeks for production and shipping.

THE Caliber DT100.01
DELMA’s custom designed Tourbillon is equipped with bespoke features for superior precision. The escapement and regulating organ are contained within a cage that revolves 360° every 60 seconds. As this cage rotates, any positional errors are negated. A hand affixed to the cage also serves to indicate the running seconds. The variable-inertia balance contributes to the extreme accuracy while C-shaped masselottes positioned on the spokes of the balance wheel mitigate air perturbation.
The baseplate is adorned with perlage, while the bridges, visible through the exhibition caseback, are embellished with Côtes de Genève motif. The ratchet wheel is a double spoke design, revealing more of the perlage beneath as well as affording partial sight of the center wheel. Golden text adorns the bridges, blued screws and the bridges are bevelled and polished. The movement is ruthenium-treated and dressed in a contemporary dark gray finish.

100% Swiss Tourbillon
DELMA designed the movement drawing on the development and engineering expertise of Olivier Mory of BCP Tourbillons. Several other specialist firms from the region such as Atokalpa assisted in procuring the components for its 100% Swiss Made movement.

Power reserve and accuracy
Due to its large barrel the DT100.01 offers an outstanding power reserve up to 105 hours. It is regulated and tested in 6 positions to an average daily rate -4/+6 seconds.

Strength and resistance
The balance is fitted with a shock absorption system supplied by KIF, and the movement is shock-protected up to 5000 G. In addition, the Caliber DT100.01 comprises non-magnetic components such as the alloy hairspring and Glucydur balance wheel, hence it can withstand magnetic fields up to 2000 gauss.
